In which it's my first day back at work and I have developed a one hundred day strategy for me to have a less stressful work-life balance and to look halfway decent in a bikini. This is how long I have to go. Today went really well. I am quietly proud of myself.

In which the restaurant in the distance with the red windows and green awning shuts tonight. It was where I bought my first meal when I moved to Leeds; where I ate the night after my wedding; where I got takeaway the night I bought my baby son home from hospital and every Saturday my son and I get a takeaway to eat in front of the TV. It was called Welcome Friends and now I feel like I lost one of the very few friends I have in the city I don't belong in.
